Continuing their sublime run of form in the Ligue 1, French league leaders PSG secured another eye-catching home win in an absolute goal fest of a contest where they thrash Bordeaux 6-2 at the Parc des Princes. The match also saw Neymar producing a moment of magic by scoring a resounding free-kick during the early stages of the game. PSG’s formidable attacking force including the likes of Cavani, Mbappe and Neymar himself were on target as the Ligue 1 giants opened the flood gates within 5 minutes, thanks to a stunning free kick by their Brazilian No 10.

It all began with the French sensation Mbappe whose quick feet unlocked the Bordeaux defence wide open as defender Jeremy Toulalan had to commit a foul which rewarded PSG a free-kick opportunity. Neymar was much obliged in taking the chance as he fired a booming free kick from central position around 30 yards out, into the top left corner leaving the keeper Benoit Costil dumbfounded. 

Uruguayan striker Edison Cavani was next in line to score for the home side as their attacking trio teamed up superbly in setting their ace striker for his 12 league goal. Neymar was brought back into action when PSG were leading by two goals as Otavio was adjudged to have hand-balled in the 39th minute of the game. The 25-year-old was cool, calm and decisive in firing the ball at the back of the net as he completed his brace, ending the contest way before stroke of half time.

German international Julian Draxler made it 5 when he started a counter attack in the 44th minute and finished off in style with a spectacular volley.After getting his name in the score sheet, Draxler then created another by setting up Kylian Mbappe, who dispatched a low shot into the bottom left. With the win Unai Emery’s side are now sitting 3 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 table with 22 points.
