After having the most successful day at the Asian Games 2018, in terms of the medal, Indian contingent will look to add more medals to their kitty. On day 4 of the Asian Games, shooter Manu Bhaker will be in action in the 25m Air Pistol event, along with compatriot Rahi Sarnobat. Anjum Moudgil and N Gaayathri will also aim to make it to the finals in their respective events.  The team competition in women’s gymnastics will feature Dipa Karmakar but she won’t be a part of the vault event, however, Pranati Nayak and Aruna Reddy finished above her to qualify for the finals. The men’s hockey team will also be in action, facing Hong Kong.

On day 3, India bagged 5 medals, Divya Kakran brought the glory for India with winning bronze in Women’s Freestyle 68kg, shooter Sanjeev Rajput won silver in men’s 50m Rifle event while Saurabh Chaudhary clinched gold in 10m Air Pistol even along with compatriot Abhishek Verm who settled for bronze in the same. The men’s Sepak Takraw team won the bronze for the first time ever for India. 


7:44 pm | The day 4 at the Asian Games 2018 concluded with total 15 medals in the tally. In the medal tally, India has come to the 7th spot with 4 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze. Earlier in the day, Shooter Rahi Jeevan Sarnobat clinched a gold in 25m Pistol event. After that, Surya Pratap Singh,  Santosh Kumar, Narendra Grewal and Roshibina Devi won back to back four bronze in Wushu. 

6:39 pm | India’s Surya Pratap Singh also won bronze in the Men’s Wushu Sanda  60kg category after Santosh Kumar and Roshibina Devi. 

6:27 pm | India has won back to back two bronze medal in Men’s Wushu Sanda 56 kg and Women’s Wushu Sanda 60 kg. While in men’s category, it was Santosh Kumar who brought the glory to India it was Roshibina Devi who clinched bronze for India in women’s category.

4:45 pm | The finals for the Artistic Gymnastic begins without the injured Dipa Karmakar. 

4:20 pm | Shooter Rahi Jeevan Sarnobat reacts after bringing the glory to the country. 

 4:00 pm | Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan won the quarter-finals and made their way through the semi-finals in Men’s Doubles. Thus, it is confirmed that India will clinch two medals in Tennis.
