Indian test batsman Murali Vijay and wife Nikita were blessed with a baby boy on Monday. The India Test opener decided to share the good news on social media as he took to his Instagram handle where he shared an adorable photo of the new born with his eldest son holding his baby brother. “Two Rockstars!! One introducing the other to the world. Feeling Blessed,” the 28-year-old cricketer captioned his photo. The Tamil Nadu batsman has embraced fatherhood for the third time as Vijay has a girl and boy with wife Nikita, who he tied the knot with 5 years ago in 2012.

During his cricketing years, Vijay has retained his top notch status for Team India in Test cricket as he has always been India’s top pick as an opening batsman. In his 9-year career, Vijay had tough luck in representing Team India in the limited overs format. He played a crucial role overseas when India was down under against Australia in 2016 which was his last appearance till date. Wishes for the latest inductee in Murali’s family have been pouring in after he announced yesterday that his family has been blessed with a baby boy.

Despite missing the most part of the cricketing season this year after being sidelined during the series against Australia which also kept him out from this year’s IPL, Murali will be seen next when India take on the Protease in South Africa. Before that he will be seen in action alongside Ravichandran Ashwin, who was not a part of Tamil Nadu squad in 2016.

Murali started playing the gentlemen’s game at the age of 17 and was practicing hard before he got the opportunity to shine in the Tamil Nadu under-22 team. Starting from the bottom, Vijay quickly jumped places by making his first class appearance representing Tamil Nadu in 2006. And since then the rest is history.
