In the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case, Delhi Police has a lengthy list of inquiries for Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
Jacqueline Fernandez will be questioned by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offenses Wing on Wednesday in relation to the alleged Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. A top officer stated that Jacqueline has been asked to attend the probe at the EOW office on Mandir Marg tomorrow around 11 am.
The same policy officer verified that Jacqueline will be asked a series of questions.
She was questioned about her friendship with Sukesh and the gifts she received from him. The officer stated that she will also be questioned about how frequently she spoke with or met Sukesh over the phone during that time.
Pinky Irani has also been invited to join the probe by the Economic Offenses Wing. Irani, who knew both Sukesh and Jacqueline Fernandez, reportedly assisted Sukesh in getting in touch with her.
According to sources, Pinky and Jacqueline may be questioned together in order to elicit additional information. Jacqueline has been informed that her inquiry may take longer than expected and has been asked to schedule her stay in Delhi appropriately.
Jacqueline was previously mentioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in their chargesheet in the Sukesh-related money laundering investigation.
