The head of the Congress’s Delhi branch, Anil Chaudhary, claimed that for the past year, they have been drawing attention to the flaws and corruption in the excise policy.
“This action taken demonstrates that these people are fiercely crooked and dishonest, not fiercely honest. All corrupt individuals will be required to serve prison sentences, according to Anil Chaudhary, head of the Congress’ Delhi section. He claimed that during the past year, Congress has raised awareness of the flaws and corruption in the excise policy.

“We have promised the public that these ferociously dishonest individuals will be imprisoned. Only the truth succeeds, he declared. He stated that Congress has long called for an investigation while referring to Sisodia as “the liquor minister.” We protested all across Delhi, spoke with a Union minister, and brought up the problem with the Delhi police commissioner.

According to Chaudhary, the investigation should concentrate on those who have benefited from the programme and the reasons behind the licencing of alcohol manufacturers. “While the government was drafting a policy on alcohol, Delhi was experiencing a Covid wave, and residents were dying from a lack of oxygen.”

Chaudhary questioned BJP lawmakers for failing to bring up the corruption in the excise policy issue. He stated that Sheila Dikshit, the Congress chief minister, oversaw significant progress in Delhi.
