BJP National General Secretary BL Santhosh has been called in by the SIT looking into the alleged effort to steal four TRS MLAs for interrogation on November 21 at 10.30 am.
Santhosh was instructed to produce the cell phone the accused used to contact him by Investigating Officer B Gangadhar in a notification delivered to the party headquarters in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. In the past two days, the SIT has called Tushar Vellappally, Jaggu Swami, B Srinivas, and BL Santhosh.
According to authorities, Ramachandra Bharathi, one of the defendants in the case, and TRS MLA P Rohit Reddy had a taped discussion in which Santhosh’s name was mentioned. The audio recording in which a voice claiming to be that of Bharathi states that he would provide Santhosh the names of the other three MLAs and that he will visit the city when everyone is prepared. “There is no mistake about this since I really forced Nandu sit down with Santhosh to talk about it,” the voice continues. He clearly stated that you should move through with this and he will handle the rest.
