The BJP has vowed to give slum residents apartments and potable tap water in every home in the slums.
Previously, it was stated that the party had revealed its manifesto, however, the party has referred to it as a “vachan patra.”
MCD elections will be conducted on December 4, with vote counting taking place on December 7.
On the occasion of the promissory note’s release, Delhi BJP state president Adesh Gupta slammed the Aam Admi Party (AAP), saying, “Every house should have tap water, but Arvind Kejriwal has no interest in providing that facility to the people of the city because he has built a nexus with the tanker mafia.”
“On one side, there is the Kejriwal administration, which has lied by making false promises. On the other hand, the BJP is dedicated to keeping all of its pledges,” he added, adding that the party will also keep this commitment.
Manoj Tiwari, a BJP MP, also blasted the AAP, claiming that the Kejriwal administration has failed to deliver.
“Arvind Kejriwal made numerous promises to the people of Delhi, but those promises have yet to be fulfilled.” “Kejriwal has turned Delhi like a gas chamber,” stated Manoj Tiwari.
Earlier in the day, BJP national president JP Nadda presided over an election-related meeting of the Delhi BJP core group at his house in the national capital.
BJP Delhi President Adesh Gupta, Delhi state in-charge Baijant Jay Panda, co-in-charge Alka Gujar, convenor of election management committee Ashish Sood, and state general secretary (org) Siddharthan were among the core group members.
