Technology giant Xiaomi has launched the latest entrant to the club of bezel-less smartphones Mi Mix 2 which will join the ranks of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and LG V30. Mi MIX 2′, is an upgrade from last year’s Mi MIX, which will be available in China from September 15. ‘Mi MIX 2′ comes with 6GB RAM in three versions — 64GB, 128GB and 256GB — with full-screen display.

Mi MIX 2’ features a 5.99-inch screen with 18:9 full-screen display for more viewing space and a better immersive experience. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM. The device sports 12MP camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, while the front camera has 5-megapixel sensor. Both the cameras support facial recognition to unlock the handset. Connectivity features of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and its battery capacity is 3400mAh.

The standard Mi MIX 2 variant comes in Black colour option, and features a black lens coating on the front and rear camera. The device also features 18K gold plated camera ring on the back. The body of the phone is made using 7-Series aluminium. There’s also a Special Edition Mi MIX 2 variant with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Black and White colour options. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 prices for the variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage have been set as CNY 3,299, CNY 3,599 and CNY 3,999, respectively.
