After top Hindu seer Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati’s remark on Ram Mandir construction, now RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has declared that if the government does not start work on Ram temple, work will anyway begin in four months. But Bhagwat was still meted with protests and an angry crowd asked him to announce a date. Speaking at the Dharm Sansad in Prayagraj on Friday, Bhagwat said that while the politicians talk about Mandir only to get votes, the Mandir will be built keeping in mind the faith. As the nation heads to polls and awaits the Supreme Court verdict on the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit, RSS chief Bhagwat continues to pressurise the ruling BJP over the contentious Ram Mandir issue.
