We want to make UP a one trillion-dollar economy, says UP CM Adityanath presenting 100 days report

Addressing the media on Monday, the UP Chief Miniter said, "UP is the biggest state in India, and can lead the country ahead."

Yogi Adityanath’s second consecutive government established objectives for several departments after regaining office. Many elements of his 2.0 government’s 100-day action plan were part of the BJP’s electoral pledges for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

Addressing the media on Monday, the UP Chief Miniter said, “UP is the biggest state in India, and can lead the country ahead.”

“Our administration is focusing on the ideals of ‘sewa, suraksha, and sushashan’ (service, security, and good governance),” Yogi stated during the press conference stating that the aim of the state government is to make Uttar Pradesh a one trillion dollar economy.

“We are presenting the progress of 100 days in the context of 5 year program,” he said referring to the action planned fixed for 100 days, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years and 5 years.

The aim of 100 days must be accomplished by June 30 in any circumstance. Instructions have been sent to all departments at the Chief Secretary level in this respect.

Yogi explained how they began after regaining power, “After we regained electricity, we began the task by partitioning the entire system into 10 sections.” The presentation was delivered by the ministers themselves, and the review was conducted in front of the cabinet.”

“PM Gareeb Kalyan Yojna gave ration to over 15 crore people, a decision we took in our first cabinet itself… 1.66 crore beneficiaries will get an LPG cylinder for free on Holi & Diwali, we decided in first 100 days of our 2nd term: UP CM Yogi Adityanath,” he said.

Adityanath also claimed that air travel was made more convenient for people, as the state now has 9 functional airports. “Air travel has been made stronger. In 2017 we had 2 airports while 2 were under construction. Now we have 9 functional airports while work on 10 more is ongoing,” he told the media.

Yogi emphasised how Uttar Pradesh was the first state in the country to develop an e-pension programme for government employees, saying, “For the first time, we utilised technology and implemented an e-pension scheme for government employees.”

The CM emphasised the quantity of work completed in 100 days by the BJP-led Yogi administration, saying, “E-Vidhan came into force. Set the department’s aim of 100 days, and the ministers’ action plan was formed via the presentation. After a 72-hour stay, 18 ministers visited the mandals and assessed the works. It was completed in 100 days.”

Yogi remarked of the government’s deployment of bulldozers on illegal properties, “Bulldozers were operated on unlawful properties and mafias.” “A total of 68700 encroachments and 76000 unlawful parking spaces were removed.”

Yogi Adityanath also mentioned removing the loudspeakers. “1.20 lakh loudspeakers are removed or voice work is performed in holy buildings.” There will be no prayers on the roadways now, and Eid and Ram Navami events will not take place,” Yogi remarked.
