New Delhi: Terrorist organisation Jama’at-ud-Da’wah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed’s Twitter account ‘HafizSaeedLive’ has been suspended by the social microblogging site Twitter, after the Indian intelligence agencies raised the issue with the company.
Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks has been posting pictures related to Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani who was killed in an encounter in Kashmir by security forces. The JuD chief was also seen in a picture conducting prayer meetings for Wani.
Hafiz Saeed, an internationally designated terrorist, has a bounty of US$10 million that the United States announced in April 2012, for his role in 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Prior to this, Hafiz already had a bounty on him for allegedly inciting Kashmiris in separatist activities, but there have been protests in Pakistan against the US bounty.
