Explosion rocks Afghanistan’s Herat, 1 dead and 5 injured

Kabul: At least one person was killed and five others, including a policeman, were injured on Saturday after an explosion rocked Herat city of Afghanistan. This is the second attack in the country after last week’s suicide attack which took place in Kabul city.
According to reports, several casualties are feared to have been killed in the attack.
Few days before, a peaceful protest in Afghanistan was ambushed by a suicide bomber where more than 80 people were killed and 200 wounded.
A day before, at least 36 Islamic State (IS) militants were killed in a military operation by the Afghan National Army here following an attack on July 23 in which 80 persons were killed and over 300 wounded.
