New Delhi: Pakistan on Monday summoned Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale to condemn the Indian ceasefire violation at the Line of Control (LoC) that killed seven of its soldiers.

Aizaz Chaudhry, the Pakistani Foreign Secretary summoned Gautam this afternoon.

“This belligerent attitude of Indian occupation force is a serious threat to the regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation,” he said.

The Foreign Secretary asked the Indian High Commissioner to convey it to his govt to observe the ceasefire and stop unprovoked firing.

In a statement, the Pak military had claimed that seven of its soldiers were killed in firing by Indian army along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

 “Seven soldiers embraced ‘shahadat’ at the LoC in Bhimber sector in cross-fire LoC violation by Indian troops late last night,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations, the army’s media wing.
