New Delhi: United States President-elect Donald Trump’s ex-wife, Ivana Trump in an interview suggested that she should be ambassador to Czech Republic, where she is originally from.

“I will suggest that I be made ambassador for the Czech Republic,” adding that “the country is where I’m from and everybody knows me,” Ivana said in an interview.

“I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America. I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages. I’m known by the name Ivana. I really did not need the name Trump,” she added.

Ivana was born in 1949 in Moravian town (earlier known as Gottwaldov), Czechoslovakia.

In 1977, she married Donald Trump and they became leading figures of New York. Later, in 1992, the couple got divorced.

They have three children together — Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump.
