New Delhi: Separate incidents of earthquake were reported from different parts of the world on Thursday.

A strong tremor with 6.1 magnitude struck north-eastern Japan’s Fukushima prefecture. However, no tsunami warning has been issued in the incident.

On the same day, a moderate earthquake with 3.5 magnitude struck India-Myanmar border region in Manipur. The quake was reportedly felt at around 1:28 am (IST).

No casualties or damage to property have been reported so far.
