After Major Mishap, Secret Service Is Making THESE Arrangements For Donald Trump Including Bulletproof Glass At Campaign Rallies

After Major Mishap, Secret Service Is Making THESE Arrangements For Donald Trump Including Bulletproof Glass At Campaign Rallies

The Secret Service has started enhancing Donald Trump’s security detail, including plans to use bulletproof glass at his campaign rallies. A senior official informed CNN that these increased security measures also involve adding more agents and making certain technological updates, though specifics were withheld for security reasons.

These measures are being implemented following an assassination attempt on Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month, with some already in place.

Ballistic glass, typically used for the protection of sitting presidents, is being strategically deployed by the Secret Service at various locations where Trump is expected to appear. Since the Secret Service doesn’t have its own aircraft, the Department of Defense, which manages extensive transportation logistics, will be responsible for moving the glass.

A dedicated team of agents will handle the logistics and setup of these protective measures at each of Trump’s campaign events leading up to the November 2024 presidential election. The official described the operation as logistically complex.

Some of these security enhancements had been previously mentioned by Secret Service leadership, including an increase in manpower, as announced by Kimberly Cheatle before she resigned as the agency’s director last month amid criticism following the rally shooting.

Ballistic glass is typically used for outdoor events, while indoor events usually don’t require such protection due to pre-screening of attendees. However, the official noted that the glass might be used for both indoor and outdoor events depending on the specific security needs at each location.

When asked for further details, the Secret Service declined to comment, emphasizing that their top priority is the safety of those they protect, but they could not discuss specific protective measures.
