French President Emmanuel Macron today ( Tuesday) accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal’s government.
The presidency announced that the outgoing government will continue in a caretaker role, managing routine affairs until a new administration is appointed. This development follows the defeat of Macron’s centrist alliance in recent snap parliamentary elections.
