The online trading of insults between US President Donald Trump and Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.

The US President, who was also the host of the famous TV reality ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ has twice pointed out how the show is suffering a dip in ratings now that he is not the host.

Trump left the show in 2015 soon after announcing that he will be running for President in the 2016 election, following which the makers of the show brought actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger to host the next season.

Donald Trump first tweeted about how Arnold got “swamped (or destroyed)” when the ratings for the first episode came out. Arnold had publically endorsed democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by then.

Trump again took a dig at the NBC reality show’s ratings on Thursday morning while attending the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.

“When I ran for President, I had to leave the show. They hired a big, big movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger to take my place and we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes”, Trump said on Thursday.

Schwarzenegger didn’t take long in hitting back at the President suggesting that they should switch jobs since Trump was “so good with ratings”.

On Friday again, Trump tweeted, “Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice … but at least he tried hard!”, in response to which the ‘Terminator’ star posted a link of an old article on his twitter handle saying “Arnold releases tax records”.

Notably, according to Trump’s chief Counsellor Kellyanne Conway, the President will not be releasing his tax records.
