“You Won’t Have To Vote Anymore, My Beautiful Christians”: Donald Trump At Florida Event

Republican nominee Donald Trump assured Christians that if they support him in the upcoming November presidential elections, he will resolve issues so effectively that they won’t need to vote again.

Trump made this statement at an event in Florida organized by the conservative group Turning Point Action.

“Christians, you have to get out and vote. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians. I’m a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good you’re not going to have to vote,” Trump said.

It is unclear what the former president, currently facing charges of inciting the 2020 Capitol riots and allegedly attempting to overturn his 2022 election loss, intended by these remarks.

The Kamala Harris campaign has not directly responded to the comments, but spokesperson Jason Singer characterized his overall speech as “bizarre” and “backward-looking.”

Trump previously mentioned that he would act as a dictator for a day to close the southern border with Mexico if he regains power in November, later downplaying these comments as a joke.

The US presidential race has tightened since President Joe Biden was replaced by his deputy, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic nominee last week. Harris’s entry into the race has significantly narrowed Trump’s lead, according to recent opinion polls.
