
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit cards for the exam dates of April 5, 6, 7, and 8. Aspirants can now download their hall ticket from the official website using their application number and password.
The JEE Main Session 2 exams are in session from April 2 and will continue on various dates this month. Earlier, the admit cards for the exams on April 2 and April 4 were released on March 29.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Paper 1, which is for the BTech aspirants, will be on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Paper 2 for BPlanning and BArch candidates will be on April 7.
The NTA has opted for multiple dates to accommodate the huge number of candidates taking one of the largest engineering entrance exams in India.
The JEE Main 2026 exam is conducted in two shifts each day. The morning shift will be from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift will be from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Aspirants should strictly follow the reporting time, as last-minute reporting can lead to complications. The gates for the morning shift will open from 7 AM to 8.30 AM.
Candidates can report for the afternoon shift between 1 PM and 2:30 PM. Candidates who report after the closing of the gates will be denied entry under all circumstances.

Print the Hall Ticket and bring it to the Exam Centre.
The JEE Main 2026 admit card displays certain information, including the candidate’s name, roll number, date and time of the exam, exam centre allotted, and instructions.
Candidates must cross-check all the information provided in the Hall Ticket. If they find any wrong information, it should be notified to NTA so that it can be rectified before the exam day.
The NTA has issued some stringent guidelines regarding entry in the examination centres on the exam day. Candidates are advised to reach the exam venue at least one hour before the gate closing time. Late entry is not permitted at all costs.
A valid photo ID should be carried along with the admit card. Candidates should follow all the instructions given by the exam agency on the exam day.
JEE Advanced will be the next step after JEE Main 2026, and the final merit list will be announced. The top 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to write JEE Advanced, which is the entrance exam for admission into India’s most prestigious engineering institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
As the exam is in full swing, candidates should regularly visit the official website, and should read all the instructions carefully, and must strictly adhere to them.
