NEET-PG Exam 2022-IMA writes to Health Minister, urging to reschedule exam

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, requesting that the NEET-PG exam be rescheduled until 2022.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, requesting that the NEET-PG exam be rescheduled until 2022. This exam will take place on May 21st.

The NEET-PG 2021 exam was held on September 2, 2021, five months after the scheduled date, according to IMA’s letter to the Health Minister. Similarly, the examination counselling was held in January 2022 rather than October 2021 because the Supreme Court was hearing the case of seat reservation for the NEET examination at the time.

As a result, both the test and counselling for the last time were delayed.

The IMA also stated that the counselling process, which began in January-February 2022, is still ongoing and will be completed by the second week of May. As a result, pupils will be unable to sit for the exam and study for it. As a result, the exam date should be prolonged.

The IMA further stated that nearly 10,000 interns were on duty during the Covid-19 epidemic and that they served as corona warriors during the epidemic, preventing them from studying for the NEET PG examination.

As a result, IMA requested that the health minister adjust the timing of the NEET PG 2022 examinations, citing the Supreme Court’s judgements and the impact on the careers of thousands of medical students.
