NTET 2026 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the registration process for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026 today, April 2.
Candidates who will apply for NTET 2026 can submit their application form on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/ntet, before 11:50 PM.
The application process for NTET 2026 started from March 11 and will end tonight, with no further extension as of now. Ensure to avoid last minute rush and submit your application form well in advance.
The NTET 2026 is a national-level eligibility exam for candidates who want to teach in the Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy. Every eligible candidate needs to clear the exam if they want to teach Ayurveda, Siddha, or Unani subjects.
It is a standardised exam to ensure that the candidates meet the academic and professional requirements to teach in the Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy.
The official NTET 2026 application form is open from today till April 2, 2026. Candidates can submit their application form till 11:50 PM on April 2, 2026.
However, the payment deadline will be extended until April 3, 2026. The correction window will be available from April 4 to April 6 for the NTET 2026 applicants.
To apply for NTET 2026, candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. The candidate should have completed a postgraduate course in Indian Systems of Medicine or Homeopathy.
Further, the candidates are required to complete at least 30 months of coursework in Ayurveda, Siddha, or Unani and one year of internship in the subject.
These qualifications are essential to ensure candidates are well-prepared for teaching roles in traditional medicine systems.

The NTET 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 mins. The exam will be in English and Hindi.
