The Ramayana fever has taken over the internet by storm. One of the highly anticipated upcoming films, the makers of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has just dropped the teaser. While reactions have started to pour in, it was Alia Bhat who added to the excitement of fans way before. The much-awaited Ramayana teaser features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and no wonder fans can’t keep calm.

The proud wife expressed her enthusiasm after watching the teaser of the Nitesh Tiwari film ahead of its official unveiling. In a virtual interaction, Alia Bhatt urged fans to show their support to the ‘absolutely fabulous’ clip and called it ‘out of this world’.

What Did Alia Bhatt Say?

“Ramayana unit is going to be out tomorrow. It is the unit called the Rama unit. I’m going to be posting it on my social media, so again, please go out there and support it,” Alia Bhat said.

Speaking on Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, the actress added, “It’s absolutely fabulous. I think Ranbir has just done such a beautiful job and I just can’t wait for you guys to see it.” Alia Bhatt concluded saying, “It’s just out of this world.”

About Ramayana Cast And Plot

The teaser of the mythological epic was dropped on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and it unveils the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. The film has an ensemble cast with Sai Pallavi portraying Sita and Ravi Dubey playing Lakshman. Yash, who has been roped in to play Ravana, is also associated to the film as a co-producer.

The makers of the project has planned as a two-part release and it is backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first instalment is expected to be out in Diwali 2026 while the next part will likely arrive in Diwali 2027.

Ramayana is an ancient epic that follows a young prince and princess whose marriage and subsequent exile mark the beginning of a legendary journey. Their story of love, duty and destiny sets the stage for greater challenges ahead, mentioned IMDb.

Ranbir Kapoor On Work Front

Other than Ramayana, the actor is set to appear in Love & War, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He will star alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
