Rakasa Movie Review: The much-awaited Telugu film Rakasa finally hit theatres, and the audiences are already sharing their reactions online. Directed by debutant Manasa Sharma, the film brings together fantasy, comedy, and thriller elements in a unique way.

Starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, the movie offers a mix of humour, emotions, and quirky storytelling. While many viewers are enjoying its entertaining moments and performances, others feel the genre mix doesn’t always work smoothly,, leading to a mixed response on its first day.

Rakasa Movie Review

Director Manasa Sharma presents Rakasa as a fantasy story filled with comedy and light-hearted moments inspired by Chandamama. The scenes and dialogues are neatly written, and the fast-paced screenplay keeps the film engaging.

Staying true to her vision, Sangeeth Shobhan delivers a strong performance, while Getup Srinu’s comedy track and the scenes featuring Sangeeth with Vennela Kishore add both humour and emotional depth.

The first half of Rakasa is fun, packed with comedy and entertainment, and it sets up the story well for what’s to come. Once the film picks up, it moves at a steady and quick pace without slowing down till the climax.

The second half stands out as the strongest part of the movie, with a gripping narrative that connects well with the audience. Overall, the performances and storytelling make the film engaging and enjoyable.

Rakasa Movie Twitter Review

One user said, “#Rakasa A Silly Below-Par Fantasy/Horror Comedy! First half is flat, with nothing really engaging and the comedy barely working. The second half is slightly better, with Vennela Kishore generating a few laughs and some one-liners landing, but overall it still feels amateurish. The concept had potential, but the execution is too silly. Sangeeth Shobhan tries his best to carry it, but neither the fantasy/horror elements nor the comedy fully work due to the weak screenplay. Below average!”

Second user commented, “No Horror…..Only Humour  My Rating ….. 2.75

Fakthu Vitlachaarya style

Looks like it was made under the influence of movies.

..

Even though it’s a horror fantasy story with no logic at all

It should have been told a bit more convincingly, with clarity.

..

The attempt to mix sentiment was good up to that point

But it felt harry..harry

..

Vennela Kishore carried it for the most part

..

For kids and family to watch in summer

It’s a decent fun..and fantasy movie.”
