It is not uncommon for celebrities to get surrounded by fans when they step out. Be it at airport or outside a restaurant, admirers often follow them for an autograph or just a mere selfie. While this has been a trend now, certain actions of fans amount to harassment to their beloved superstars. The followers might not have bad intentions but on some occasions, they end up offending their idols. Something similar happened to Salman Khan during one of his recent public appearances in Mumbai, when the actor found himself surrounded by a sea of fans.

How Was Salman Khan Mobbed?

The actor was at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane on Tuesday to attend the President Cup 2026 event. There, he joined Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In a video that soon went viral, Salman could be seen making his way through the venue. He wore a brown shirt and blue jeans and appeared fairly relaxed. The situation, however, turned tricky as a huge number of fans gathered around the actor.

Salman Khan could be seen walking away from the stadium premises. Even as his security personnel followed him, hundreds of people could be seen following the Bollywood star. Many of the fans could also be seen waiting at the stands to get a glimpse of their favourite actor and capturing the moment. Despite the presence of his bodyguards, the crowd seemed to be uncontrollable. Other videos show Salman being escorted out in a police convoy, with his team struggling to manage the surge of people who were trying to come to closer proximity with that of the actor.

The occurrence has raised concern, with many questioning the security arrangements at the event. The incident comes after reports claimed that Salman Khan received multiple death threats in recent times.

Although the situation seemed getting out of control, the actor left the venue safely. Visuals from the event highlighted his massive fanbase and the consequences that follow a superstar’s presence at public gatherings.

What’s Next For Salman Khan?

Salman Khan is gearing up for his next release, Maatrubhumi. Previously titled Battle of Galwan, the film is expected to hit theatres in August 2026. He has also begun shooting for his upcoming film with Nayanthara, which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The Bollywood star will collaborate with producer Dil Raju for this project, which is tentatively titled SVC63.
