Sonam Kapoor has been on cloud nine ever since she gave birth to her second child with Anand Ahuja. The power couple welcomed the little one, a baby boy, on March 29, 2026. Now, the new mom has shared an adorable photo with her baby from the hospital bed. The actress also wrote an elaborate note expressing gratitude to the hospital and its staff.
In a post on Instagram, Sonam dropped two pictures offering a glimpse of her munchkin. The first photo shows her hugging her newborn, while the second one features the actress having her meal with a candid expression at the hospital.

Mentioning the hospital authority, Sonam thanked the doctor and all other staff for the ‘most incredible experience’. “Grateful beyond words. Thank you to HN Reliance Hospital for the most incredible experience as we welcomed our second son into the world. It has truly been exceptional in every way,” she wrote.
“A very special thank you to my OBGYN, Dr Avaan Dadina, who has now guided me through both my pregnancies. There is a sense of trust, calm, and reassurance in her care that is so rare, and I’m endlessly grateful for her support, wisdom, and kindness,” the actress added.
She went on to express her gratitude to the whole team ‘for being thorough professionals and showing their gentleness, empathy, and genuine care.” Sonam mentioned, “It’s not always something one expects in a hospital, but it absolutely should be, and it made this experience so meaningful.”
She didn’t forget to thank Nita Ambani for creating “a space where excellence and compassion exist so seamlessly together.” The new mom concluded her post noting, “Feeling deeply grateful, cared for, and blessed. Grateful for the incredible team who cared for us. Sonam and Anand.”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed their first child, Vayu, in 2022. The actress announced her second pregnancy in November 2025 and shared a bunch of photos on Instagram. She was seen cradling her baby bump as she posed for the camera in a stylish avatar. Sonam kept the caption simple and wrote, “Mother.”
