And it is all over as Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up the final New Zealand wicket. Dean Foxcroft, who scored 75 runs off 72 balls, was the last batter to be dismissed. During his stay at the crease, Foxcroft managed to hit seven sixes.
It is a fifer for Mustafizur Rahaman, who has been rewarded for an incredible spell of bowling today. The left-arm pacer dismissed William O’Rourke in the 40th over to complete his five-wicket haul.
Mustafizur Rahman has continued his fine form in the clash as he picked up his fourth wicket. The left-arm pacer bowled a wicket-maiden and dismissed Jayden Lennox.
Bangla Tigers are inching closer towards a series win here as Mustafizur Rahman picked up his third wicket of the match. However, it was a wicket for Rahman thanks to a special catch by captain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Nahid Rana has got his second wicket as New Zealand continues to lose the plot. Josh Clarkson was the latest batter to be dismissed after being beaten for pace by Rana in the 33rd over.
Shoriful Islam continues to be the difference in this chase. The left-arm pacer picked up a crucial wicket to send Muhammad Abbas back to the pavilion. Both set batters from New Zealand have been dismissed and the required run rate is now beyong seven runs per over.
At the halfway stage of the second innings, the chase is hanging in the balance. While New Zealand has done well to not lose another wicket in almost 50 deliveries, Bangaldeshi bowlers have managed to keep the run scoring still in check with the reuqired run rate being 6.32 runs per over.
Nick Kelly has scored back-to-back fifties and is now holding the key for the Kiwis in this chase. The required run rate is beyond 6.3 runs per over but it is still within reach. However, the Blackcaps would want this pair to get a move with the partnership reading 28 runs off 31 balls.
The economical bowling from Bangladeshi bowlers has finally resulted in a reward for them as Mehidy Hasan Miraz struck to dismiss Tom Latham. The Kiwi batter did not look comfortable at the crease as he scored five runs in 13 balls.
Nahid Rana came on to bowl his fourth over with a change of ends. It only took the Bangladeshi pacer three balls to make an impact in his second spell. He broke the 46-run stand between Nick Kelly and Will Young by dismissing the latter. The Kiwis are now in a spot of bother with the required rate getting close to six runs per over.
Bangladesh has managed to keep a check on the scoring from the New Zealand batters. The bowlers from the Asian nation have been right on the money at home. Nahid Rana, who started with a maiden over, has given only nine runs in his three-over opening spell. With the power play restrictions lifted, Mehidy Hasan Miraz is into the attack to bowl the 13th over.
Nahid Rana was on fire in the previous game as he just rattled the New Zealand batting unit. The pacer will look to continue form and get as many wickets as he can. If Rana fires, New Zealand will be in a lot of trouble

The hosts were under pressure early after their top order was rattled by Will O’Rourke. However, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das steadied the innings with a strong partnership, helping Bangladesh recover nicely.
A fine knock from Najmul Hossain Shanto comes to an end. It’s a floated full delivery outside off; Shanto stays rooted and lofts it towards long-on but fails to get enough elevation or power. Nathan Smith judges it well near the boundary and takes a clean catch.

WICKET! A momentary lapse ends a superb innings. Litton makes room, but Lennox follows him with a length ball on leg stump. He looks to go over extra cover, only for the ball to turn away just enough to beat the outside edge and hit the leg stump. A century was there for the taking, but Litton falls against the run of play after a brilliant knock.
This has been a brilliant stand for Bangladesh after the way they started. The home side has gone past the 150-run mark with Shanto and Das still there at the crease. New Zealand need to break this partnership
