Bhooth Bangla has got the third highest sales in advance booking among the 2026 Bollywood releases, reveal reports. The Akshay Kumar starrer follows Dhurandhar 2 (Rs 53 crore) and Border 2 (Rs 12.5 crore) to secure the spot. On the other hand, the film surpassed O’Romeo (Rs 3.07 crore) and Mardaani 3’s (Rs 1.16 crore) advance ticket sales.
Trade analyst Joginder Tuteja called Bhooth Bangla an ‘absolute surprise that no one saw coming’.

As of Day 1, Bhooth Bangla is running across 4,615 shows and has collected a net of ₹1.90 Cr Live today. According to Sacnilk, this brings total India gross collections to ₹6.44 Cr and total India net to ₹5.40 Cr so far. India final collections are yet to be reported.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the film is ‘worth a watch’ for its genuinely funny moments and a fair share of eerie chills. He added, “The backstory in the second half evokes memories of #BhoolBhulaiyaa… However, the onscreen presentation could have been simpler.”
Praising Akshay Kumar, Taran mentioned, “His comic timing, expressions, and effortless switch between fear and humour are a delight to watch.”
