WICKET! Sameer Rizvi hits that in the air but doesn’t time it well and has been caught by Tilak Varma for 90. He misses out on that milestone but the damage has been done. DC are still in cruise control
An absolute batting masterclass from Sameer Rizvi. He has been batting with some authority. In no time, he has reached to his fifty and has been continuing his form. Some stunning batting performance from the youngster
DC fans after watching Sameer Rizvi’s batting
Sameer Rizvi continued from where he left. He gest 20 in one over of Corbin Bosch and is keeping Delhi Capitals well and truly in the hunt
WICKET! Just when the partnership was building, Pathum Nissanka has been sent back. Santner bowls that touch fuller and Nissnaka tries to pull that, miscues the stroke and is caught by Markande for 44
After a couple of early blows, Delhi Capitals are back on track with this partnership. Pathum Nissanka has done the heavylifting while Sameer Rizvi has joined in as well. The hosts are well and truly back on track
Pathum Nissanka is showing why DC were so interested in him. He has the ability to fire cylinders right from the word go and he is doing exactly that. Nissanka has taken on Shardul and is dealing in boundaries
WICKET! Another one for Mumbai Indians and that’s a bad mix up between Nitish Rana and Pathum Nissanka. Rana guides it on the on side, takes two steps forward, stops and then runs to the non-striker’s end. Bumrah hits the bull’s eye and Delhi lose two now
WICKET! That’s the first wicket gone for DC. KL Rahul once again goes in the first over. He is out for 1. Chahar bowls that down the leg, KL tries to flick but only gets a fine edge on that one and it’s a good catch by the wicket-keeper behind
Delhi Capitals have the openers out in the middle for the chase. KL Rahul who got out on the very first delivery in the previous match will look to get some under his belt. With him, it’s Nissanka who has walked out and Deepak Chahar begins the show with the ball for Mumbai Indians
A couple of boundaries in the last over have taken MI to 162/6 in 20 overs. This has been a good performance from Delhi Capitals. Can Mumbai Indians defend the total or will it be DC who will add another win to the tally?
WICKET! Just when Naman Dhir looked set to carry the team to a good total, DC have struck. Short delivery and the right-hander pulls that straight to Stubbs in the deep
Suryakumar Yadav was looking good and set to take the side to a good total . Ngidi got a very important wicket as far as the match situation is concerned. He has been deceiving the batters with that slower, dipping yorker and full length deliveries
The stand-in skipper looked brilliant but his innings has come to end after notching up a fifty. A touch fuller delivery from Lungi Ngidi and SKY tries to pull that. He misses the ball and it hits the right leg. A loud appeal from the bowler and umpire raises his finger. SKY has gone upstairs but it’s three REDs which means he has to walk back
Mumbai Indians have been pushed on the backfoot after losing wickets at regular intervals. Stand in captain Suryakumar Yadav has been holding the fort from one end but he needs support form the other
WICKET! The break has done the trick and that’s a big one gone. Sharma slashes that hard from Axar Patel but Nitish Rana stationed at extra covers times his jump well and grabs a good catch. He goes for 35
SIX! Rohit Sharma goes down town and hammers straight over the bowler’s head for a MAXIMUM! MI have started to push the paddle now. SKY has been taking his chance behind the square. Now, Rohit has also joined in
Delhi Capitals will happily take this. They have been able to pick up early wickets and more importantly have kept Rohit Sharma’s scoring rate under control. 41/2 after 6 overs
WICKET! Another one bites the dust. Tilak Varma is deceived with the pace as Mukesh takes the catch off his own bowling. Tilak just chips it straight back and Mukesh dives to his left in the follow through. MI are 18/2 now
WICKET! That’s the first one that has gone down for Mumbai Indians. Ryan Rickleton plays that fuller delivery from Mukesh Kumar in the air but miscues the stroke and is caught on the off side by Axar Patel. DC draw first blood
After a couple of boundaries in the first over, Mumbai Indians are off to a flying start. Rohit too has begun his innings with a four. He steps out and places that one from Lungi Ngidi towards the third man boundary
The openers are out in the middle. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton will start for Mumbai Indians. Mukesh Kumar to bowl the first over and Rickelton starts off with a boundary on the on side. He flicks that one away nicely.
