Rawalpindiz slipped from 98/4 after 11 overs to finish on 178/9, handing Lahore Qalandars a convincing 32-run victory in their PSL 2026 clash.

Sikandar Raza struck immediately in the 12th over, removing Sam Billings with a smart stumping as Pindiz moved to 104/5. Usama Mir then tightened the screws, bowling Dian Forrester and later trapping Cole McConchie lbw, leaving the chase in deep trouble at 125/7 after 15 overs.

Despite the collapse, Saad Masood launched a spirited counterattack. He smashed boundaries regularly against the spinners and seamers, racing to a fighting fifty off just 21 balls. His aggressive knock kept Rawalpindiz alive as they reached 151/8 after 18 overs, with 17 runs coming off Haris Rauf’s over.

Daniel Sams was expensive in the 19th, conceding 19 runs as Saad and Mohammad Amir added late runs. Rawalpindiz moved to 170/8, but the equation remained steep.

Haris Rauf returned for the final over and ended the resistance in style. He bowled Saad Masood for an excellent 54 off 26 balls before conceding a boundary to Asif Afridi. Rawalpindiz closed on 178/9 in 20 overs.

For Lahore, Haris Rauf starred with 3 wickets, while Usama Mir and Sikandar Raza chipped in with two scalps each. Saad Masood’s late fireworks entertained, but Lahore’s imposing total of 210 proved far beyond reach as the Qalandars sealed an important win.

Rawalpindiz made an aggressive start in their chase of 211 but slipped to 90/4 after 10 overs against Lahore Qalandars.

After reaching 16/0 in 2 overs, the innings changed dramatically in the third over as Shaheen Afridi struck twice. He removed Shahzaib Khan for 7 and trapped Mohammad Rizwan lbw for 9, reducing Rawalpindiz to 17/2.

Yasir Khan then launched a superb counterattack. He took on the bowlers with fearless hitting, smashing boundaries and sixes to keep the chase alive. A 19-run fourth over off Daniel Sams gave Rawalpindiz momentum, and they moved to 36/2 after 4 overs. Yasir continued the assault, helping the side reach 62/2 after 6 overs and 76/2 after 8 overs.

He brought up a brilliant half-century in the ninth over and added another six soon after, taking the score to 87/2 after 9 overs.

However, Haris Rauf turned the game in the 10th over. He first dismissed Daryl Mitchell for 11, then ended Yasir Khan’s explosive knock of 58 off 29 balls. The over cost just 3 runs and left Rawalpindiz struggling at 90/4 at the halfway stage.

Lahore Qalandars finished strongly to post 210/4 in 20 overs after moving from 191/3 after 18 overs.

Mohammad Amir delivered a tidy 19th over, conceding just 4 runs and claiming the key wicket of Fakhar Zaman, who departed after a superb 84 off 54 balls. His dismissal briefly slowed Lahore’s momentum as the score moved to 195/4.

However, the Qalandars ended the innings in explosive fashion. Daryl Mitchell’s final over went for 15 runs, with Asif Ali providing the late fireworks. After a couple of dot balls, Asif smashed two towering sixes in the final two deliveries to lift Lahore past the 200-run mark.

At the close of the innings, Lahore Qalandars were 210/4, with Asif Ali unbeaten on 14 off 6 balls and Charith Asalanka finishing on 1 not out.

Lahore Qalandars continued their strong batting display, moving from 121/0 after 10 overs to 175/1 after 16 overs against Rawalpindiz.

The breakthrough finally came in the 11th over when Mohammad Amir dismissed Mohammad Farooq for a brilliant 63 off 41 balls, ending a dominant opening stand. However, Lahore did not lose momentum as Abdullah Shafique joined Fakhar Zaman and kept the scoreboard moving.

The 12th over brought 13 runs, with Shafique striking a boundary and Fakhar adding another four. Lahore then reached 144/1 after 13 overs, thanks to a six from Shafique off Razaullah.

Fakhar brought up his half-century in style during the 14th over with a boundary, while Lahore advanced to 151/1. The batting side kept attacking in the next two overs, scoring 12 runs each in the 15th and 16th overs. Shafique smashed a six, while Fakhar cleared the ropes again late in the innings.

At the end of 16 overs, Lahore Qalandars were cruising at 175/1, with Fakhar Zaman unbeaten on 68 off 41 balls and Abdullah Shafique on 25 off 15 deliveries.

Lahore Qalandars kept up the attacking approach, moving from 89/0 after 8 overs to a commanding 121/0 after 10 overs against Rawalpindiz.

The ninth over from Razaullah proved expensive, leaking 19 runs. Fakhar Zaman struck a boundary, while Mohammad Farooq smashed a six over midwicket. Rawalpindiz were also hurt by extras, including five wides, as Lahore reached 108/0.

Daryl Mitchell was introduced in the tenth over, but the batters continued to dominate. Fakhar Zaman hit two classy boundaries as 13 runs came from the over, taking the total to 121/0.

At the end of 10 overs, Mohammad Farooq was unbeaten on 63 off 36 balls, while Fakhar Zaman was cruising on 42 off 24 deliveries, with Lahore in complete control.

At the end of eight overs, Mohammad Farooq was unbeaten on 55 off 33 balls, while Fakhar Zaman was batting strongly on 25 off 15 deliveries, with Lahore firmly in control.
