PSL 2026 | Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings Match Scorecard: A solid effort from Karachi Kings’ lower-middle batters as they clinch a four-wicket win against Lahore Qalandars. Shaheen Afridi’s four-wicket haul kept Lahore in the game, but to no avail.
Karachi Kings restricted Lahore Qalandars to 128 for 9 after 20 overs. A disciplined bowling effort from Karachi, as every bowler had at least one wicket in their tally. Abdullah Shafique remained the top scorer in this innings.

Former champions Lahore Qalandars kicked off their campaign with a win against the newly introduced Hyderabad Kingsmen by 69 runs. They intend to maintain this momentum and achieve another win to add two additional points to their score.
At the same time, Karachi Kings too started their season with a victory, defeating Quetta Gladiators by 14 runs, and are presently ranked second on the points table. They aim to preserve their victory streak and keep gaining momentum by securing an additional two points.

Another last-over finish for PSL as Karachi Kings beat Lahore Qalandars by 4 wickets. A four and six by Abbas Afridi to finish off the proceedings. Haris Rauf fails to deliver yet again with the ball.

Good start for Lahore Qalandars despite losing Fakhar Zaman early in the innings. Mohammed Naeem has taken the mantle upon himself to play shots inside the powerplay.
The trump card of bowling, Moeen Ali, in the first over has worked for Lahore Qalandars as Fakhar Zaman has been stumped on the fourth delivery. This is a huge dent to Lahore Qalandars.

Shaheen Afridi at the toss: “We are batting first. Its a used pitch, so a decision had to be made, you know, what team to play on a used surface. For this game we have one change. Usama in and Asif is rested because of the wicket and condition we see. So we wanna, you know, we just had a good total on the board and then we defend it. No, no, I think the batting is pretty good there. They played well, we scored 200 runs last game, so we’re pretty happy and we just need to play normal cricket shots and score like 170, 180 on this wicket, it will be a good total. (Talking about their head-to-head with Kings) No feeling, no fair, nothing.”
Lahore Qalandars win the important toss as captain Shaheen Afridi elects to bat first without any hesitation whatsoever. There will be assistance for spinners in the contest as the surface will continue to get slower.
