Gujarat Shocker: 32-Year-Old Doctor Found Dead At Husband’s Home; Father Calls Suicide Claim ‘Impossible’, Family Points To Domestic Issues

Gujarat Doctor Found Dead: The death of a 32-year old female Doctor under mysterious circumstances in the house of her husband in a Gujarat village caused shock and suspicion. Although, the police at first reported that the murder was a suicide through hanging, the family of the deceased has been in a heated argument that this was not the case, casting a lot of doubts on the events that caused her death. With the case, a closer investigation has now been instigated and the authorities have embarked on a high level investigation to ensure that the investigation is transparent.

Gujarat Doctor Found Dead: The person who passed away was a qualified medical professional named Dr Minaben Vijaybhai Maru, who had served as a Medical Officer in a government hospital in Kutch in the Covid-19 pandemic before her death. Later she had been stationed in Amreli district but had recently given up her government job to spend more time with her four-year-old son. Police sources claimed that she had been staying with her husband in the last seven years, and she was alone at home when the incident happened, since her husband was said to be out of work.

Father Calls Suicide Claim ‘Impossible’

Gujarat Doctor Found Dead: But her father, Pravinbhai Devjibhai, has dismissed the suicide theory completely, saying that his daughter would not have done so. He asserted that there were domestic problems that had been going on with her relatives who lived close to her marital home, and this could have led to the situation. He also disclosed that he had just talked to his daughter earlier that day, when she had called him to see her, and then he had heard a call saying that she had allegedly died and that he needed to come to the hospital. The turn of events, he added, has evoked high levels of suspicion in the family.

Gujarat Doctor Found Dead: With the issues mentioned in mind, the police arranged an inquest before an Executive Magistrate and conducted a complete body examination to detect foul play in the same. To get an unbiased and thorough medical examination, the body has been dispatched to a panel post mortem to be conducted by a team of specialists at Bhavnagar. To date, the case is registered as an accidental death, although the authorities have indicated that further measures will be taken solely based on the results of the autopsy report.
