Telangana: A chilling case has emerged from Telangana’s Hanamkonda district, where a man allegedly killed his pregnant wife and two young daughters. The accused, identified as Azaruddin, lived on the outskirts of Punnela village in Ainavolu mandal. He ran a local swimming pool and stayed there with his wife Farhat (26) and their daughters, Umera (8) and Ayesha (6).
Pressure Over Pregnancy Turned Fatal
According to police, Azaruddin had earlier forced his wife to terminate pregnancies, suspecting the unborn child would be a girl. When Farhat became pregnant again and refused to abort, tensions escalated.

Investigators say he took his wife and daughters to the pool and pushed them into the water, leading to their deaths. He later tried to present the incident as an accident.
Father’s Complaint Exposes Crime
The case took a turn when Farhat’s father raised doubts over the deaths and approached the police. Based on his complaint, Azaruddin was taken into custody. During questioning, he allegedly confessed to the crime. Police are continuing the investigation.
