KKR vs SRH: Angkrish Raghuvanshi was given a second life by the umpires as he was recalled on the field after being given run-out.. The young right-handed batter was involved in a mix-up at the pitch which resulted in IPL 2026’s most expensive player, Cameron Green being dismissed. It was a comical display of errors from Raghuvanshi and Green which resulted in the latter being dismissed scoring only two runs in two balls.
The right-handed batter was about to cross the boundary line but before he could step out of the field he was called back by the umpires. It turned out that Raghuvanshi had not crossed halfway mark of the pitch resulting in Green being dismissal. The Australian all-rounder once again failed to make an impact in the game having been bought for ₹25.20 at the auction ahead of IPL 2026.
Since being given a second chance, Raghuvanshi has made sure to make the most of the opportunity. The right-handed batter was ultimately dismissed via run-out in the 11th over. He scored 52 runs in 29 balls hitting six fours and a couple of sixes.
Raghuvanshi despite being involved in a couple of run outs, has been one of the top performers in the season for the Knight Riders. Having scored a half-century in the previous game, he carried on with his fine form. The right-handed batter scored 51 runs in 29 balls against the five-time champions at Wankhede Stadium.
Sunrisers Hyderabad batting first scored 226 runs in the first innings. The Orange Army were powered to the huge total from Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Opening batters, Head and Abhishek played knocks of 40s. The Aussie batter scored 46 runs in 21 balls, while Abhishek scored 48 in 21 balls. For the Knight Riders, Blessing Muzarabani claimed four wickets while giving away 41 runs in four overs. The Zimbwean pacer became the first bowler to pick four wickets in the 19th season of the IPL. Vaibhav Arora picked up two wickets while Kartik Tyagi and Anukul Roy picked up a wicket each in the innings.
