Bollywood star Ajay Devgn marked his 57th birthday on April 2 with a grand addition to his already enviable garage: a swanky Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Priced at around ₹1.40 crore (ex-showroom), the luxury MPV reflects the actor’s refined taste for high-end automobiles.
Devgn joins an exclusive list of recent buyers of the model in India, including cricketer Hardik Pandya and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is one of the most premium multi-purpose vehicles available in India. Designed primarily for chauffeur-driven owners, the model is offered in a single high-spec AMG Line trim.
It comes exclusively in the Extra-Long Wheelbase (ELWB) version, measuring 5,370 mm in length with a 3,430 mm wheelbase making it the longest Mercedes-Benz vehicle currently on sale in India.
The V-Class offers two powertrain options, both paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The setup ensures smooth performance, making it ideal for both city drives and long-distance luxury travel.
Inside, the V-Class delivers a lounge-like experience. Buyers can choose between four- and six-seat configurations, with rear seats offering premium features such as electrically adjustable recline, massage, ventilation, and heating functions.
Other highlights include three-zone climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a high-end Burmester sound system, creating a truly first-class cabin experience.
Mercedes-Benz has equipped the V-Class with a comprehensive suite of advanced technology. The MPV includes wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a powerful 640W Burmester audio system with 15 speakers and Dolby Atmos.
On the safety front, the car offers seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX mounts, and advanced driver assistance systems like Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition. The model also holds a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
The exterior of the V-Class features AMG Line styling, highlighted by a bold front grille and adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights. Its imposing size and premium design give it a commanding road presence, making it a standout luxury MPV.
