Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled their sixteenth list of candidates on Saturday for the forthcoming Gujarat Assembly elections.

AAP has currently declared 177 candidates for the 182-member Gujarat Assembly with Saturday’s list, which includes three names.

Lalji Parmar will compete from the Matar constituency, while Mahendra Rajput has been fielded from the Sidhpur Assembly constituency.

Mahendra Patil was the favourite of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party to win the Udhana Assembly seat.

Isudan Gadhvi had already been named as AAP’s chief minister candidate for Gujarat elections on November 4. Gujrata will have two rounds of voting on December 1 and 5.

AAP’s National Executive, the top decision-making body of the party, includes Gadhvi.

Party debuted their CM face after a crowdsourcing process in which people were requested to submit their ideas on a phone number and an email address until 5 pm on November 3.

Earlier on October 29, AAP National Convenor Kejriwal began the campaign by inviting voters to select a candidate for party’s chief minister face.
