Amit Shah announces Arunachal’s Parshuram Kund to get railway connectivity soon

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh will soon be connected to the rest of the country through railways.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is on a two day tour to Arunachal Pradesh announced that Parshuram Kund will soon be connected to the rest of the country through railways.

Parashuram Kund is a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to sage Parashurama. It is situated on the Brahmaputra plateau in the lower reaches of the Lohit river.

Amit Shah on his visit to Arunachal Pradesh said on Sunday “We will connect Parshuram Kund through railways. We have laid a network of roads across the state and connected far-flung places in the state.”

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of a 51-feet high bronze statue of Lord Parashuram.

Union Home Minister along with Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and CM Pema Khandu visited Golden Pagoda in Namsai district.

Shah stated that in the last three years, 9,600 extremists have laid down their arms and joined the mainstream of society.

He further stated that the present government has reduced terrorist activities in the Northeast by 89 percent as it aims to establish peace in the Northeast by ending all disputes.
