On the outskirts of Mangaluru, a 23-year-old man was fatally cut by an unidentified group, according to police on Thursday.
Fazil, victim who was killed, has been recognised. He was attacked with deadly weapons. At Surathkal, Mulki, Bajpe, and Panambur, Section 144 was implemented as a result of the event.
N Shashi Kumar, the police commissioner for Mangaluru, stated, “A 23-year-old kid was viciously beaten by 4-5 individuals near Surathkal’s Krishnapura Katipalla road at approximately 8 o’clock on July 28. The youngster was transported right away to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.”
Additionally, government ordered that all wineries inside the commissionerate’s boundaries close on July 29.
“In the sake of maintaining local peace and order, we have asked all Muslim leaders to offer their prayers at home. Justice would be served promptly and equitably ” Mangaluru CP added.
A murder case has been filed, and police are looking into a complaint from a witness who was there when dead was killed.
Additionally, Mangaluru Police Commissioner warned citizens against believing rumours, saying, “Investigations are being conducted to determine the incident’s cause and the identities of the perpetrators. I urge all individuals to ignore any rumours that are being pushed by special interest organisations.”
There are further studies under progress.
In an earlier incident, late on Tuesday night in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada, a young BJP activist named Praveen Nettaru was attacked with deadly weapons by unknown guys on a bike.
