Eight men were arrested for the attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said Delhi Police.
As per the Police officials, they are in look for some more people involved in this attack. Raids are being carried out by six police units.
According to the reports, the security barrier around CM’s house was breached, and the CCTV cameras around his residence were smashed. Although, the process of filing the petition is currently ongoing.
Right after the attack, the Aam Admi Party leaders lashed out at BJP calling them responsible for this attack.
AAP’s MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj has urged for SIT probe to the Delhi High Court. The appeal is made for an independent, fair and time-bound criminal investigation against the attackers.
Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, accused the BJP of a “plot to assassinate Arvind Kejriwal.”
However, BJP is calling it a stunt by the APP leaders for Delhi CM to be seen as “bechara”.
