Apple intends to unveil new MacBook and iPad models with OLED panels. These revolutionary screens are scheduled to be available in 2024.

Apple will either create a new MacBook category or upgrade the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, according to GSM Arena. Because the MacBook Air was just recently redesigned for the year, a new MacBook Pro or a new MacBook category appear to be more plausible. This information, however, is expected to alter by 2024. Meanwhile, both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models with OLED panels may feature “tandem stack” display technology, which should enhance panel lifetime while cutting battery consumption by 30%.

Furthermore, to boost efficiency, Apple’s OLED displays are planned to have variable refresh rates. According to GSM Arena, Apple’s 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros are the only laptops featuring OLED panels, which Apple refers to as “Liquid Retina XDR.”

According to a recent claim, Apple is developing a 15-inch MacBook Air. A smaller 12-inch MacBook is reportedly in the pipeline, according to the report. Apple’s M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs are slated to be mass-produced by TSMC later this year, and new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros might be available as early as next year.
