Atiq murder case: Police finds WhatsApp grp ‘Sher-e-Atiq’, shooters among the names added

Police found a WhatsApp group called 'Sher-e-Atiq', named after the deceased gangster-turned-politician. Atiq's son Asad Ahmed, added over 200 people to the group, sources told NewsX.
In a shocking revelation in Atiq Ahmed murder probe, police found a WhatsApp group called ‘Sher-e-Atiq’, named after the deceased gangster-turned-politician. Atiq’s son Asad Ahmed, who was gunned down in an encounter with the police in Jhansi, added over 200 people to the group, sources told NewsX.
The group also includes the names of the shooters and Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen’s helpers. Police suspects that the group members are involved in the murder of Atiq Ahmed as well. According to the sources, the group was closed in November last year.
It was earlier reported that the Anti-Terror Squad is set to question the three accused of Atiq Ahmed’s murder. According to sources, SIT team will be conducting Narco and Polygraphy tests on all three.
The three shooters of Raju Pal murder accused Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were arrested on the spot in Prayagraj.
