The fourth day of the Congress Party’s “Bharat Jodo Yatra” was continued on Saturday by party officials from Mulagumoodu in Kanyakumari, and it is anticipated to enter Kerala by this evening.
Along with other party officials, Congressman Rahul Gandhi set out on their mission to unify India. Rahul Gandhi stated earlier on Friday that the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” is an effort to repair the harm the BJP and RSS have caused.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was also criticised by the Wayanad-based Congress MP for “grabbing control of all institutions.”
He stated, “We have carried out this yatra against the destruction and enmity that BJP’s ideology has created to our country. For us, this yatra is to connect with the people.
“BJP now controls all national institutions and exerts pressure on them. We are no longer engaged in political party warfare. The opposition and the Indian state’s structure are currently at odds “added Congress MP.
He went on to say, “Since it is still ongoing, the conflict between the two competing perspectives has been going on for a few thousand years. There are two contrasting perspectives on India; one is strict and authoritarian, while the other is pluralistic and tolerant. The conflict will go on.”
Union minister Anurag Thakur said on Friday that India is already unified under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking a jab at the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra.
