Pawan Kheda, head of the party's media and publicity department, also said that 'Shah and Shahenshah' should understand that both are tenants of democracy, not landlords.
The Congress has hit back strongly in response to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s attack on Rahul Gandhi. The Congress has said that ‘Jaichand’s army’ has stood up to save industrialist Gautam Adani. All this is happening at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pawan Kheda, head of the party’s media and publicity department, also said that ‘Shah and Shahenshah’ should understand that both are tenants of democracy, not landlords.
Pawan Khera told reporters that Shah and Shahenshah knew Rahul Gandhi would not apologise. You both are tenants of democracy, not landlords. Think of yourself as a tenant, don’t try to be a landlord. Khera claimed that all this drama is taking place as Rahul Gandhi is seeking answers on the misdeeds of the Prime Minister’s friend. Why do you not constitute JPC? If you want to become Jaichand of democracy, then become one. If you give importance to your friend and not your country in this way, then you will be called Jaichand in history.
Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said that a whole army of Jaichands has been formed. Its job is to divert attention from the Adani issue and speak levelless language against Rahul Gandhi. Mafiveer, who did not cut a single nail in the freedom movement, is teaching democracy to Rahul Gandhi! Congress cannot answer filth with filth. The one who should be in a comedy show has remained the spokesperson of the BJP. All this is happening at the behest of the Prime Minister so that Adani can be saved.
The second phase of the budget session of the Parliament started on 13 March. Since then, the BJP has been adamant about demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his London statement about India’s democracy. While many opposition parties, including the Congress, insist on a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry into the matter related to the Adani Group.
It may be known that recently in a program in London, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the structure of Indian democracy is under barbaric attack. He had expressed regret that the democratic parts of the world, including America and Europe, have ignored this. Rahul had also alleged in the lecture that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was destroying India’s democratic structure. These comments of the former Congress President have created a new political controversy in the country.
