The BJP President met with heads of missions from 14 countries at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi.
This conversation was part of Nadda’s “Know BJP” effort, which includes a series of programmes.
Mr. Nadda inaugurated the new campaign “Know BJP” expressly to reach global audiences on the BJP’s Foundation Day, April 6th, and talked with Heads of Missions from 13 countries around the world.
The meeting saw the party president talk to the guests about the policies of the BJP as well as the party structure and its various departments and the event finished with a round of questions and answers.
These High Commissioners attended the “Know BJP” event hosted by the BJP Overseas Cell at the BJP HQ, New Delhi. Today’s meeting had the USA, Australian as well as Israeli High Commissioners in attendance among others. The welcome address was given by the Convenor of Overseas Cell Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale. They were shown a short film about the inception of Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the BJP as it is on a date – taking the viewers through its journey from 2 to 303 MPs in the Lower House of Parliament. Shri JP Nadda spoke about the importance of the day chosen to have the 2nd round of these meetings with the ambassadors. Following were the people who were present as the High Comissioners-

This day is marked as the birth of Buddha (Buddh Purnima) while Hon’ble PM Shri Modi offered his prayers at his birth place in Lumbini, Nepal – as well as the day is also marked as the 8th year anniversary when BJP first came to serve in Union Govt by winning full majority seats in Parliament with 282 seats in 2014.
