During the protests of Congress workers in support of Rahul Gandhi against ED for National Herald Case, fire broke out outside ED office.
The protests started earlier today outside the All India Congress Committee (AICC) office. The protests continued as ED asked Rahul Gandhi to rejoin the ongoing investigation for 3rd consecutive day.
As per sources, Rahul wanted the questioning to end yesterday, but there are still some unanswered questions according to ED. Following this ED summoned him again today.
In the previous two days, the ED has asked Rahul Gandhi more than 40 questions.
According to ED sources, Rahul is offering tutored replies, which is why questioning is moving at a snail’s pace.
Today, the ED is interviewing him about Young India and AJL funding.
For the third day in a row, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi returned to the Enforcement Directorate’s ongoing probe into an alleged money laundering case involving the National Herald newspaper.
Subramanian Swamy, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, accused Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi, and others of conspiring to defraud and misappropriate funds in a complaint filed in the Delhi High Court.
