India’s total COVID-19 case count increased to 4,44,15,723 with 7,591 new cases being recorded in 24 hours while active cases decreased to 84,931, according to Union Health Ministry figures released on Monday.
The death toll has risen to 5,27,799, with 30 more victims. In addition, 15 fatalities have been reconciled by Kerala, according to data updated at 8 a.m.
According to the ministry, active cases account for 0.19 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.62 percent.
According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 4.58 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 2.69 percent.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 4,38,02,993, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 per cent.
According to the ministry, 211.91 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
