Chief Minister of Delhi, announced on Saturday that he will go to Gujarat from July 3–4

Arvind Kejriwal, national convener of the Aam Admi Party (AAP) and Chief Minister of Delhi, announced on Saturday that he will go to Gujarat from July 3–4.

He will swear in the party’s new officers, and on July 4, he will take part in a town hall gathering. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) earlier in June unveiled a new organisational structure for Gujarat with over 850 office bearers in anticipation of the Gujarat assembly elections later in the year.

Kishorbhai Desai has been named the state president (frontal organisation) and Manoj Sorathiya has been named the state general secretary by the party.

Isudan Gadhvi has been named the national joint general secretary of Gujarat by the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, while Indranil Rajguru has been named the joint national secretary of the state.

On June 8, the AAP announced that its organisational structure in Gujarat has been disbanded in order to reorganise the party unit in order to challenge the BJP, which is currently in power, in the upcoming State Assembly elections.

All party positions at the state, district, taluka, and frontal organisation levels were subsequently abolished.

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party and the chief minister of Delhi, held a roadshow in the Mehsana district on June 7 to highlight the growth of the party in Gujarat, which is going to the polls.
