The embassy of Japan in India presented a vocal & instrumental rendition of the National Anthem of India on India’s Independence Day.
The musical celebration of India’s 75th year of independence was, compiled by Japanese embassy staff members who included both Indian and Japanese nationals.
Satoshi Suzuki, in a video message, greeted Namaskar and expressed his sincere congratulations to the people of India. The embassy staff members, both Indian and Japanese, presented a joint performance of the National Anthem of India to commemorate the joyous occasion.
Over the years, both countries have had a cordial and pivotal relationship. In March, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida paid a visit to India for the 14th India-Japan Annual Summit.
During the summit, Japan committed to investing Rs3.2 lakh crores in India over the next five years. Seven JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) loans have been approved for projects in various states involving connectivity, water supply and sewage, horticulture, healthcare, and biodiversity conservation.
Japanese companies have signed an agreement to introduce Johkasou technology for decentralised wastewater treatment in India. It is used in areas where sewage infrastructure has yet to be built.
On cyber security, the leaders discussed the “India-Japan Digital Partnership,” which aims to strengthen the digital economy by promoting joint projects in the fields of IoT (Internet of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and other emerging technologies.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to promoting Indo-Pacific peace, security, and prosperity.
The Japanese Prime Minister invited PM Modi to Tokyo for the QUAD Summit Meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated a Japanese ‘Zen Garden – Kaizen Academy’ at Gujarat’s Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA).
