Singer and rapper Badshah landed in the middle of a controversy this week. Word got out that his Dallas show, part of the “Unfinished USA Tour 2025,” might be tied to a Pakistani company.

Badshah reacts to FWICE controversy

Badshah’s crew didn’t waste time. By Monday, August 18, they’d already put out an official statement, shutting down the rumours. They made it crystal clear: there’s zero connection to any Pakistani entity.

The whole tour’s being handled by a US-based agency called Intense Entertainment, to be specific, with Manish Sood running the show. He’s the sole promoter, the guy making all the calls when it comes to venues, sponsors, and hotels.

The statement doubled down: Badshah’s not about that political drama. He’s focused on music, on bringing people together, nothing else.

He’s not involved in any weird backroom deals, just what’s in his contract. To top it off, his legal team sent FWICE a detailed report on August 16, laying everything out in black and white. The message? He’s keeping his work clean and his focus on his art.

What exactly happened?

The event promoters echoed the same thing: no link to Pakistan, and they’re ready to cooperate with any probe FWICE wants to run.

Now, if you haven’t been following, this all comes after the Pahalgam attack back in April. Since then, FWICE has been super strict with Indian artists, basically telling them not to work with any Pakistani nationals.

They even went after Diljit Dosanjh for a movie he shot with Hania Aamir way before all this started. Vaani Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s film? Banned in India just days before it was supposed to drop.
