Here’s the blockbuster list of the must-watch latest OTT releases from August 19 to August 24 to set your mood. 

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (August 19)

Tom Cruise is back to make a grand entry with another installment of Mission: Impossible, directed by Christopher McQuarrie on OTT platform Prime Video and Apple TV+. Two months after getting hold of the key to the dangerous AI called “the Entity”, former IMF agent Ethan Hunt receives a message from US President Erika Sloane. He joins forces with his loyal friends and new agents to take control of the world’s deadliest technology. The epic star cast includes Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny and Angela Bassett. 

The Map that Leads to You (August 20)

The Map That Leads to You is set to release on 20 August 2025 on the OTT platform Prime Video, directed by Lasse Hallström. A college graduate takes an amazing European trip with friends, where she meets a handsome stranger and develops a romantic connection. The star members include Sofia Wylie, Madison Thompson, Orlando Norman, and Josh Lucas.

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox (August 20)

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an upcoming limited series releasing on 20 August 2025 on the OTT platform JioHotstar. The story revolves around Amanda Knox, who was falsely convicted of the murder of her roommate and her 15-year fight to prove her innocence and regain her freedom and respect. 

Aema (August 22)

Aema, set in 80s South Korea after a 36-year curfew ends, is set to release on 22 August 2025 on the OTT platform Netflix, directed by Lee Hae-young. The drama features Lee Hanee and Bang Hyo-rin showing their struggle while working on the erotic film Madame Aema. 

Maa (August 22)

Maa is a mythological horror movie set to release on 22 August 2022 on the OTT platform Netflix. The story shows the mysterious death of Ambik’s husband and her struggle to discover a demonic curse that puts her and her daughter’s lives at risk. The film stars include Kajol alongside Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma.

Eenie Meanie (August 22)

Eenie Meanie is a heist thriller film hitting the OTT platform JioHotstar on 22 August 2025, directed by Shawn Simmons. Once a teenage getaway driver, Edie is pulled back into her troubled past when an old boss gives her a chance to save her reckless ex-boyfriend’s life. The cast also includes Karl Glusman, Jermaine Fowler, Marshawn Lynch, Randall Park, Steve Zahn and Andy Garcia.

Shodha (August 22)

Shodha is a six-episode crime thriller drama set to release on 22 August 2025 on the OTT platform ZEE5, directed by Sunil Mysuru. Director Pawan Kumar made his debut with this drama in a lead role as Rohit. A lawyer whose wife mysteriously went missing. Later, a woman returns claiming to be his wife, which makes it hard for Rohit to believe.  The series features Siri Ravikumar, Arun Sagar, and Anusha Ranganath.
